This rewarding positon will require to work with and support community groups, sporting clubs, individuals and agencies to develop a diverse and accessible range of sport and recreation participation opportunities that support and strengthen community health, well-being and social connectedness for the Brimbank community.

The role will require you to support Council’s Sport and Recreation Unit in increasing participation in sport and recreation activities and programs by the Brimbank community, especially assisting those from disadvantaged backgrounds to join a sports club and get active. To provide support in the effective management of Councils sporting facilities and in all areas of service delivery of the Sport and Recreation Unit.

To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with the community and key stakeholders.
