About the position
As the Project Manager, you will work with internal clients to provide project management services and deliver civil infrastructure projects for the community. As an experienced Engineer and Project Manager, you'll provide expert advice and support in relation to project controls and design and construction activities. You'll have the opportunity to oversee a wide range of interesting and challenging projects and diversify and expand your project management experience. This is your opportunity to make an impact and deliver outcomes that positively enhance the liveability and safety of the Toowoomba Region.
- There are two temporary (5-year) full-time opportunities available and both positions are based in the Toowoomba CBD.
- The annual salary range for this position is $100,107.84 to $106,175.89 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

About the team
The Project Services Branch forms part of the Infrastructure Services Group, and is a project management office that manages the delivery of major road, drainage, park, sports facility, bridge, building, business system and change projects, primarily for Council client areas. We look for strong values-based leaders who are confident in dynamic business environments, and with a desire to serve our community.
This is an exciting time to join the Project Services team with a number of significant projects in the pipeline, including program management, project planning and the management of design and construction on major road upgrades (Highfields/Kratzke/O’Brien Rds intersections), bridge renewals (Branchview Bridge), road renewals (such as Jondaryan-Mt Tyson Rd), a major sports park (Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct), flood immunity / drainage improvements (Perth St culvert), recreation projects (Escarpment Mountain Bike Trails project) and Council’s Flood Recovery Program.
