Manager Technical Services (P3001)

An exciting management opportunity has opened in the Technical Services Department of the Alice Springs Town Council.

As Manager of Technical Services you will provide expert advice in all engineering related matters as well as support the Director Technical Services in managing staff and engineering operations of the department.

...and meet the Selection Criteria:

  1. Management experience and the ability to lead, manage and motivate staff in providing a diverse range of services
  2. Strategic planning, business planning, policy development and asset management experience
  3. Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills plus the ability to make and implement decisions
  4. Experience in culture change, and the ability to contribute significantly in leading and directing a change management program relevant to the work area
  5. Sound knowledge of accurate costing and budgeting and how they apply to the effective provision of technical services
  6. A good eye for detail
  7. Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills
  8. Excellent project management skills
  9. Corporate Membership of the Institution of Engineer's Australia

Salary: $110,000 p/a including minimum allowance
