The Role

The primary purpose of the Contracts & Business Process Specialist position is to provide quality assurance reviews of tender and contract documentation for a range of complex community facilities and infrastructure to ensure consistency of contract conditions and effective project risk controls.  The position will also provide support for the resolution of escalated contract issues and disputes. 

The position will also facilitate the continuous improvement and streamlining of project delivery processes including contract administration templates, project management labour resource allocation schedules, contractor safety processes, project delivery methods and design drawing registers. 

About you
You will have knowledge of contracts for the planning, development and delivery of community infrastructure programs and projects in a local government or community context.  This includes experience in assisting with the resolution of escalated contract issues and disputes.

You will also have experience in the improvement of project delivery methods, including developing standard operating processes and guidelines for contract administration. 

To do this, the Contracts & Business Process Specialist will have a sound level of knowledge of contracts in the delivery of community infrastructure with experience in continuous improvements of project delivery methods, procedures and guidelines. You enjoy working independently yet appreciate the value of a collaborative team environment.
