If you are an experienced Communications professional looking for a challenging and exciting role in a vibrant, inner urban community, then the Manager Communications and Engagement at Maribyrnong City Council is the role for you.

The Manager Communications and Engagement will have a proven track record of achievement in delivering high level communications, marketing, social media, community engagement and advocacy in a Local Government or related industry.

To be successful in this role, you will require a high level strategic approach and understanding of contemporary media and communications. You will also have demonstrated experience in successful engagement and advocacy techniques with community, key stakeholders, government and business.

Outstanding leadership qualities will enable you to manage and lead a multi functional achieving team. High level written and oral communication capacity will be integral to success in this role.
