Feedback for Adelaide: One City, Many Futures initiative sought
The Adelaide City Council has called for public input for Picture Adelaide, the next stage of the Adelaide: One City, Many Futures initiative.
The Picture Adelaide initiative will explore key policy options for the next 30 years.
“We’ve mapped how we think the city will grow over time and how we’re going to get there and we’re asking you whether we’ve got it right,” Lord Mayor Stephen Yarwood said.
“Council has created stories around each future and we want you to edit the ideas and move things around on an interactive map. Do we have the right focus for each of these areas? What would you like to see in each of these futures? Imagine the scene and help us plan where it happens.”
“I strongly urge everyone to head to the Picture Adelaide website – it’s seriously interactive. You can ‘like’ or ‘dislike’, make comments and use a map to move and/or suggest new locations for each future. People can even have a go at writing their own one sentence vision for the city.”
The feedback received will inform the 2012-2016 City of Adelaide Strategic Plan, the Structure Plan, and the Integrated Movement Strategy, among other Council projects.
