The Local Government Association of Tasmania (LGAT) has begun distributing the final copy of the state-wide Tasmanian Local Government Workforce Report to the State’s councils.

The report also contains individualized reports for participating councils, containing speclialised conclusions and recommendations.

The reports were produced from a workforce planning database LGAT created from human resources data from 75% of Tasmanian councils.  The database is a practical tool for councils to use in workforce planning and in training funding applications.
