The Australian Centre of Excellence for Local Government (ACELG) has launched its new eLearning portal though its Innovation and Knowledge Exchange Network (IKEN).

 

The portal will serve as an online platform for the ‘exchange and sharing of ideas, experiences and opinions of eLearning in local government’, while providing a common place for resources on eLearning for local government training providers and practitioners in Australia.

 

The UTS Centre for Local Government have developed a forum to explore issues and realities of offering e-learning to local governments. This website provides an overview of tools and techniques, design considerations and challenges, and current e-learning programs for councils. The website is located on the Innovation and Knowledge Exchange Network (IKEN) website
