The Local Government Association of NSW has elected a new president, office bearers and 20 executives at the annual LGA conference.

 

Mayor of Coffs Harbour, Cr Keith Roades, was elected as the LGA’s President for a two-year term.

 

The following office bearers were elected on day one of the Conference for the next two years:

  • President  -  Cr Keith Rhoades, Coffs Harbour City Council
  • Treasurer - Cr John McInerney, City of Sydney Council
  • Vice President - Metro - Cr Allan Ezzy, Holroyd City Council
  • Vice President - Country - Cr Allan Smith, Dubbo City Council

 

Cr Genia McCaffery of North Sydney Council remains on the LGA Executive in the position of Immediate Past President until October 2012. 

 

Cr Julie Hegarty of Pittwater Council was elected as Vice President General, and will assume this position in October 2012 when Cr McCaffery's two year term of Immediate Past President ends.
