Queensland Plan up for review
Councils are being urged to respond to a review of The Queensland Plan.
The Queensland Government is seeking feedback from community and business organisations around The Queensland Plan – a 30-year vision for the state.
The Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) has urged councils to provide their feedback around whether, five years after its release, the vision outlined in The Queensland Plan still reflects the aspirations of Queenslanders and if the approach to implementation is still appropriate.
A Consultation Paper has been prepared to provide background information and guide responses to the review.
Submissions are due on Wednesday 7 November 2018. However, contributions to the LGAQ submission will be needed by Monday 5 November 2018.
