Welcome to the PKKP Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC. We are the administrators of the traditional lands and waters on behalf of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura people. These lands and waters cover approximately 10,888 square kilometers of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, between Onslow and Tom Price. The PKKPAC delivers a range of programs and services to support the social and economic well-being of PKKP Members.
Our Purpose - to manage and exercise the native title rights of the Traditional Owners of PKKP, to ensure PKKP’s country is properly cared for, PKKP’s culture remains strong and vibrant and to build a prosperous future for PKKP people.

- Position Title: ICT Lead
- Reports To: CEO

- Full-Time Permanent Position
- Location: Karratha, with travel to Perth and remote community locations as required

Position Purpose
The ICT Lead will manage the end-to-end IT function within the organisation and will manage and implement key ICT projects, including transitioning from on-premises servers to a Microsoft SharePoint site. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimising all ICT systems, tools, and resources. The ICT Lead will also provide training to staff to ensure the effective use of these systems, aiming to make PKKP Aboriginal Corporation a best-practice organisation in terms of technology and security. This role will act as an advisor for the organisation's digital evolution into the future
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Aboriginal corporations and community-focused organisations is a plus.
- Strong written and presentation skills, able to engage with PKKP staff on a practicable level.
- Interpersonal skills suitable for a smaller organisation with a culture of collaboration.
- Sound written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and accurately to a broad range of audiences
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, applications, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, reports, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computing, data management and systems administration concepts.
- Sound knowledge of computer hardware, software, network equipment and network communication concepts.
- Working knowledge of computer programming concepts and techniques.

- Proven experience in managing ICT projects, including transitioning to cloud-based solutions - Microsoft SharePoint.
- Significant Microsoft and SharePoint development hands-on specialist experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or significant experience and certification in Document Management systems.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT Support role within a small organisation.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with a Document Management System (eDRMs) such as SharePoint, M-Files, or similar.
