Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a casual Events Officer to work on Moreland City Council’s festivals program. As the Events Officer you will have the opportunity to work on the planning and delivery of a variety of festivals across our municipality including large scale events such as the Brunswick Music Festival, Sydney Road Street Party and Coburg Night Market as well as community events such as Fawkner Festa and Glenroy Festival.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in the planning, administration and delivery of festivals or events, be able to work collaboratively with others and have excellent communication skills.

You will be required to have a Working with Children Check as a requirement of this role.
