Employee Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator (Readvertised)

  • Full time role - 35 hours per week

  • Base salary $63,125 - $71,973 dependent on skills and experience + 9.5% superannuation contribution
  • Other conditions based on Local Government (State) Award 2014

Working in partnership with management and our employees, this role will allow you to impact and influence the work culture of the organisation. You will provide professional advice, coaching, education and support as well as develop and implement policies and systems focused on work health and safety, the management and return to work of injured workers, and employee health and wellbeing. The role also includes overseeing the implementation of our equity and diversity plan.

We seek a "hands on", proactive WHS professional with exemplary engagement and team skills who can work flexibly and pragmatically within a small department as well as influence across a variety of work sites and functions.

The role requires, amongst others, a Diploma (or higher qualification) in a discipline such as work health and safety or health science, plus solid experience in a safety role.
