About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Northern Beaches Council as a Planner specializing in environmental approvals. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring projects align with environmental regulations, contributing to sustainable community development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage environmental approval applications in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide expert advice on planning and environmental matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate environmental impact assessments and related documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project planning and delivery.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for council decision-making processes.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in environmental approvals, planning, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local and state environmental regulations and policies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
