Spring into the Eco-living Fair
Spring into the Eco-living Fair
Spring is in the air, and the countdown is on for Sydney’s favourite celebration of all things sustainable with the return of Randwick City Council’s Eco-living Fair, Sunday 13 September.
Bring the family for a great day out with mouth-watering organic food, fabulous market stalls, and plenty of free, kids’ activities. Families are even encouraged to think green and ride their bikes to the event and take advantage of the free bike valet service.
Randwick Mayor Ted Seng said there really will be something for everyone.
“The Eco-living Fair is a great celebration of our environment and our community. You can pick up some gardening tips, taste some fabulous food, enjoy great music, and even explore spectacular Randwick Environment Park. Kids will love the colourful umbrella painting, edible gardens workshops, and the bike and blend smoothie maker.
“You can get your hands dirty at a worm farm workshop, hear the latest buzz on the benefits of bee keeping, and pick up tips on keeping chooks in your backyard.
“A truly green event, the Eco-living Fair will be powered using bio-diesel and solar energy, a true celebration of all things sustainable,” Mayor Seng said.
