This newly created role will see you managing Youth and Children's Services to ensure the delivery and provision of efficient and effective services. Children's Services includes Council's Long Day Care Centres and Pre-schools and Youth Services includes youth development and Counselling services.

The key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Develop operational plans and budgets to support delivery of the Services
  • Be responsible for service funding agreements, financial acquittals and quality reviews
  • Provide leadership and support for staff within Council's Youth and Children's Services

The key skills for this role include:
  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Teaching, Social Sciences or Health Sciences or similar
  • Business management experience and skills in leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated skills in report writing, business planning and budget preparation and review.
  • High quality communication skills.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence

The salary range is between $96,439 to $106,083 per annum, requisite with skills and experience, plus superannuation.
