Transport Planner

Using your knowledge and experience of traffic and transport planning you will assist council to deliver a range of traffic, cycling, parking and development control projects and policies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Transport Planning or Traffic Engineering or similar
  • High level transport planning and policy development
  • High level understanding of how transport systems work
  • Proven experience to complete projects and manage programs to the required standards within allocated timeframes and budgets
  • Proven experience and use of knowledge to evaluate the complex and often competing criteria associated with policy development and make informed decisions based on the evaluation
  • A Class C driver’s licence

The salary range is between $73,852 to $81,238 per annum, requisite with skills and experience, plus superannuation. Benefits include a 35 hour week, access to a flex system being a nine day fortnight and long service leave after five years.
