We are looking for a highly motivated professional to lead the City’s information management team, responsible for the ongoing development and integration of Council’s electronic and hardcopy information management systems, and information technology and communications systems.

The successful candidate for this role will have proven experience in leading complex IT projects including partnering with a diverse organisation to manage change programs. Managing a comprehensive and efficient information management service, and formulating strategies to guide the organisation’s future technology investment are key elements for success. Developing policies and procedures related to information management that support the positioning and direction of the organisation is a primary focus of this critical role in the City of Greater Bendigo’s information management team.

Equally ensuring security and risk management procedures and processes are in place and operating at all times to safeguard and protect the organisation’s data will be fundamental in this role.

The successful applicant will have inspirational leadership ability together with a strong focus on performance, developing staff and working collaboratively with others in the organisation. Extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of available technologies and the contemporary issues affecting the future developments within the information management sector is required.
