Planner - Council Projects 

Are you looking for a challenging role with varied duties and flexibility so that no two days are ever the same? We are seeking a Planner – Council Projects to join our Statutory Planning Unit, working within a dedicated team of planners.

This position will allow you to use your planning skills and qualifications to look for innovative solutions to provide positive outcomes for the community – as planning is about the best outcomes and statutory planning is where the outcomes are delivered.

In addition, City of Greater Bendigo can offer you exposure to a diverse range of planning issues from major retail centres, intensive agriculture, National Park interface, heritage and mining.

You will have relevant qualifications or experience in statutory planning, or related discipline including an excellent understanding of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Subdivision Act 1988 and Victorian Planning Provisions with a strong appreciation of strategic objectives and the link to planning controls.
