Manager Asset Management

Circa $125,000 remuneration package
Based in Ballan, 55 minutes from Melbourne CBD

An exciting career opportunity has become available for an experienced Asset Manager to join the professional team at Moorabool Shire Council. Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure. The Manager Asset Management will drive asset and maintenance systems throughout the organisation and lead the team of staff responsible for:

• Development of policy, strategy, service and asset management plans for key asset groups to support provision of services and to enhance the liveability of the shire
• Continued development of asset and maintenance management systems and data, to ensure good decision making and public value
• Development of long term capital programs
• Building Maintenance
• Geographic Information System (GIS)

We are looking for an energetic, dynamic and motivated individual that will lead, coach and mentor the assets team to foster a high performing workplace, driving continuous improvement initiatives through the development and delivery of key organisational strategies, policies and systems.
