City Development Administration  Team Leader

Moreland City Council has an opportunity for a highly motivated administrative professional keen to test their skills in a team structure. The position leads the administration support team within Council’s City Development Branch, which is tasked with the consideration of Town Planning, Building, Environmental Health and other related applications.

This challenging and diverse role offers excellent working conditions and a supportive team approach. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, customer service, computer literacy and organisational skills.

Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and ability to manage and motivate a team are essential.

The position involves a range of administrative tasks including maintaining computer records, dealing with correspondence, issuing building property certificates, preparing advertising material, dealing with general enquiries, freedom of information requests and customer service.

An understanding of the development approvals process in Victoria in either Building, Environmental health or Statutory Planning will be highly regarded as will any experience in procurement. An understanding of Pathway and HPE Records Management computer systems will also be highly regarded.
