The Position
A challenging and rewarding career opportunity exists for a Engineer - Design and Survey at the Shire of Broome.

This position will be responsible, under the Senior Project Engineer, to provide the primary design, survey and drafting service for the Infrastructure Services Directorate at the Shire of Broome, including but not limited to assisting when directed with strategic and service level plans for the management of the Directorate. This position will also provide high level technical expertise using best practice knowledge and other techniques to both internal and external customers of the Shire of Broome.

The person we seek
It is desirable that the successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications in surveying and/or civil engineering, survey and design or a related discipline and or have a minimum of 5 years experience in these areas.

What we offer
A cash component of $89,619 - $100,924 per annum is offered depending on your qualifications and experience (this package is inclusive of the Broome Allowance and Housing Assistance). Attractive Superannuation benefits (up to 15.5%), five weeks annual leave plus 2 days travel leave (after 12 months of service with a 17.5% leave loading payable on four weeks) and a comprehensive salary sacrifice package is available.
