If you have experience in social media and event management and want to help provide opportunities for young people then we have a fantastic opportunity for you until January 2020. As part of one of Council’s most driven and innovative units, you will work in conjunction with the team in the full range of activities offered by Stonnington Youth and Middle Years Services, where you will be encouraged to achieve your best and thrive in a collaborative environment.
As a Youth Services Officer specifically focussed on the Social Media and Events portfolio, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a broad range of programs and activities for young people aged 12 to 25 years across the municipality.
This position will be required to work across a variety of projects including planning and delivering:
• FReeZA program -a youth leadership program focused on music and art events;

Experience in working with young people in a case management capacity is also desirable.
As an employee, you will have access to some fantastic benefits and be able to participate in staff wellbeing programs, previously nominated as a finalist in both the VicHealth and Worksafe Awards.
