As the Planning & Development Team Leader you will be responsible for managing the statutory requirements for the planning and building application processes. You will also be involved in exciting projects such as developing the City’s new Local Planning Scheme, and suite of Local Planning Policies, in addition to major land use projects which will help to drive the economy of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The role also oversees the Pool Inspection Program as well as the Strategic Planning Programs.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years experience in the planning or building industry as the role is multifaceted and requires an individual to have sufficient industry experience to be able to problem solve and think quickly on their feet. You must also have strong leadership qualities to lead a team as well as having proven negotiation skills to manage the various elements of the statutory application to processes.

The role offers an attractive remuneration which will be negotiated with the successful applicant. The remuneration package also includes use of a  company vehicle.
