With revenue in the vicinity of $150m, a population of over 125,000 and a full-time staff of over 450, the City of Rockingham is a vibrant, diversified City experiencing tremendous growth in all sectors.

The City is looking for a Manager Community Capacity Building who will lead and manage a team of professionals, committed to the development of a strong and empowered community.

You have a comprehensive knowledge of community development and community capacity building principles, and experience in projects and programmes where these principles have been put into practice.  An experienced leader and manager, you have highly developed interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively listen, negotiate, problem solve and make decisions whilst ensuring relevant stakeholders participate in the consultative process.

A degree in community development or similar disciplines is essential for this role and an understanding of the workings of local government generally will be highly regarded.

A remuneration package circa $157,000 per annum comprising $120,000 per annum cash salary, vehicle allowance and superannuation of up to 14.5% will be confirmed with the successful applicant.
