Our Infrastructure and Development Directorate is seeking an experienced individual to provide effective leadership of employees and contractors in the development and maintenance of our parks, ovals and parks assets.

This position is responsible for ensuring the Shire’s public parks, ovals and parks assets are maintained efficiently and effectively to the required standard. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with knowledge in the construction and maintenance of parks, streetscapes and reserves. The ideal applicant will have skills and qualification in OH&S, horticulture, contract management, turf management, irrigation and experience with plant operation. Current certificates in First Aid, Traffic Management and Chainsaw use will be highly regarded.

In return for your strong work ethic, great people skills, and flexibility to assist with call-out response, you will be rewarded with a negotiated base salary of $75 - 81,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications; plus benefits, including restricted private use of a vehicle.
