Work Health and Safety Officer 

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to develop and maintain safety procedures, conduct audits and site inspections, and communicate WHS policies and requirements to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update WHS procedures and documents.
  • Lead WHS inductions, conduct safety audits, and provide on-site training and guidance.
  • Conduct incident investigations and help identify and reduce workplace risks.
  • Advise on compliance and encourage positive safety behaviours within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Minimum Certificate IV
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • A current driver’s license is essential.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Qualifications in internal auditing
  • Experience with injury management support
