Property and Projects Officer

 

  • Temporary role (Parental Leave up to 12 months)
  • 21 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday

Council is seeking a confident and experienced Property and Projects Officer to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a dynamic work team.

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Property Services Team on a temporary basis. This is a temporary, part-time role (21 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday) is to cover Parental Leave for a period of up to 12 months.

 

Salary for this position is based on skills, experience and qualifications which will range from $743.82 pw – $862.89pw plus superannuation.

 

About You

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the legal and administrative activities that relate directly to Council owned property. The position plays an integral role in supporting the Property Services Team, reporting to the Coordinator Property Services. The position deals with a wide range of property matters, including the preparation and issue of licence agreements and leases, easements, agreements for acquisition and other Real Property dealings.

 

In addition to having a formal qualification and experience in Property Conveyancing or Real Estate you will be able to demonstrate that you have:

 

  • Experience in Local Government

  • Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
