Internal Communications Coordinator (Ref: V22/5539)

The position is responsible for the management of internal corporate communications including publications and content on digital platforms (eg. Newsletters, Staff Intranet and Staff App).

The position will develop internal communication strategies in line with Council’s Workforce Management Strategy. They will work with other internal services (eg. Human Resources and Business & Information Systems) to promote the milestones of priority projects. They will also participate in a priority project to implement a new Staff Intranet.

The position will also provide advice, support and assistance to staff and managers across Council relating to communications and marketing activities and associated procedures and standard, ensuring they are in line with Council’s brand and writing guidelines.

Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience related to communications, marketing, digital promotions or related field. Demonstrated experience in website platform management, digital content management, web accessibility and the ability to use analytical web tools with exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to build and maintain effective internal business relationships.

Salary:  commencing at $3465.82 gross per fortnight.
