Delegates from over 120 Western Australian councils have convened in Perth to ‘address challenges likely to impact on their communities in the next 20 to 50 years’.
The ‘Whole of Local Government Forum’ has been convened to address social, economic, demographic and environmental changes that will impact Western Australia’s regional, rural and remote areas.
“The forum, which has attracted 221 delegates, is an opportunity for local governments to collectively deal with social, economic, demographic and environmental issues for the benefit of their communities,” WA Local Government Minister John Castrilli said.
