Conversations for the Future panel
This year’s Eco-living Fair will be held on Sunday, 13 September at Randwick Community Centre. This exciting annual event celebrates all things sustainable with stalls, workshops, entertainment and activities for the whole family.
As a unique addition to the event this year, we’re hosting a ‘Conversations for the Future’ panel where a number of our young, future leaders will tell us briefly how they would like to see Randwick City’s environment in the years to come.

Major events bring many benefits to city
Major sporting and other events attracted to Bendigo by the City of Greater Bendigo Major Events Unit are injecting millions of dollars into the local economy each year.
City Major Events Manager, Terry Karamaloudis, said major events are lucrative for Bendigo and in the last financial year the City supported 91 events that attracted an impressive 143,600 participants - 11 more events and 11,000 more participants than the previous financial year.
“Many of these people would simply not have come to enjoy our beautiful city if it were not for the specific event they attended or participated in,” Mr Karamaloudis said.
