Mayor calls for rail delay rethink


The City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts is imploring the State Government to reconsider pushing back the start of the rail extension from Butler to Yanchep and said the recent announcement is nothing short of outrageous.

"This extension is an urgent necessity to those living beyond Butler in the fastest growing local authority in Western Australia," said Mayor Roberts.

As a result of an Albany City Council decision, the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia will host its 2015 National Rally in Albany.
